Each year we conduct two campaigns. In the Fall (September to November) to purchase cold weather clothing. In the Spring (March to May) to purchase warm weather clothing. Each school enrolled in the program has a specific number of spots in our program. These numbers are based on the Federal Lunch numbers that are published for their school. Each child is chosen based on confirmation of needs by counselor or social worker. The child is given a permission slip to take home and have signed by parent or guardian. This form is required for the child to be enrolled in the program and also to get the appropriate sizes that the child will need. The school representative then sends the form to us and we either post the item at the sponsoring church or business or purchase the item with donated funds. The items are then gathered and matched to the child. |
